The Education Cluster: Their rich support – providing trainings, consolidated /harmonized data from all education partners, providing intervention strategies, coordination and liaison and collaboration with other partners, and monitoring/evaluation/accountability/learning (MEAL) has been amazing. GPA is the Education Cluster Co-Lead in the NW region alongside Plan International.

UNFPA: Nothing is small. We benefitted communication gadgets from them that enhanced our daily communication with partners and other stakeholders

OCHA: The UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance remains our pillar in providing humanitarian assistance. They monitor, report/inform of security situation on the field and enhance consolidation of useful data that make our work easier and strategic

UNESCO: In a bit to provide alternative education platforms for out of school children in the NW and SWR of Cameroon, UNESCO entered a partnership with GPA alongside other alternative education service providers in the NOSO regions, in April 2025 to provide digital learning opportunities to children in Oku subdivision, Bui division. This opportunity targeted 5000 learners across levels 1,2 and 3. Learning process became amplified as children had video lessons in both literacy and numeracy and in the science sector. Learning was done through tablets, speakers, projectors and radios. This was aside their learning materials provided by UNESCO. Through this, GPA was able to reach 5779 learners who are still benefiting from the program and others have transitioned into the few functional formal schools around the Oku subdivision.

Danish Refugee Council (DRC): This partnership began earlier in 2025, to implement the FLASH (First Line local Assistance for Swift Humanitarian response). This initiative represents a comprehensive humanitarian response to the ongoing anglophone crisis in Northwest Region of Cameroon. This pilot Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) addresses the urgent needs of displaced populations and vulnerable communities in this region. The project will address the immediate food needs of 400 newly displaced households through SIDA funding, with an additional 700 households supported through ECHO funding, bringing the total to 1,100 households or approximately 6,600 individuals.

Plan International: Due to the high needs and lack of ongoing humanitarian child protection response in the NW and SWR, Plan International partnered with GPA to provide protection response to individuals affected by the crisis. The 13-month intervention will target reaching 5,171conflict-affected people (1,777 girls, 1,185 boys, 1,325 women and 884 men). The project will focus on the most vulnerable girls and boys, including child survivors of SGBV and displaced children at risk of further protection-related concerns, such as physical and emotional abuse. At-risk adolescents in need of improved SRH knowledge/access while their parents will also be targeted through this intervention.
